It is better to have God approve...

When I first read this quote, I was reminded of a verse in Galatians. "Obviously I`m not trying to win the approval of the people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be
Christ`s servant." Galatians 1:10
In this verse Paul boldly spoke about pleasing God.
As the summer is coming to an end and the new school year is soon to start, I believe that this verse is great to store in our hearts as a reminder to follow God`s will. Being a teen, I know that negative peer pressure is a huge problem in high schools today. In fact, peers can influence their friends to do almost anything, but with God you can defeat these temptations.  Remember, it is ok to simply say, "no thank you" and walk away if someone is pressuring you to do something that is wrong.
When you walk down the hallway on the first day of school (and throughout the entire year), I challenge you to strive for God`s approval rather than the world`s applause.
