The 50th Anniversary of NCDE was celebrated at the 2015 NCDE Civitan Convention in Carolina Beach. For my readers who do not know what Civitan is, here is a little bit about this wonderful organization. Civitan International is an organization of volunteer clubs and districts, like NCDE. Civitans serve in their communities and also help fund studies at the UAB Civitan International Research Center.
I am a Junior Civitan which is the Civitan organization for today`s youth. As the Public Relations Coordinator for NCDE, I was privileged with the opportunity to attend this convention along with our Junior governor.
I loved attending the NCDE Civitan Convention! This was a great experience, because I learned much more about our wonderful Civitans!
