This past week I visited the sweet Peach State for the 36th annual Junior Civitan International Convention. Atlanta was my home for the week and this is where all of the exciting events occurred. During this time, I was able to create more memories with my Junior Civitan family that I will always cherish.
Our schedule was packed full of fun and interesting activities.
I truly enjoyed hearing Shane Feldman speak on his "Living My Legacy" Tour. Shane has been recognized as Americas "Top 20 under 20" and also recognized by the United Nations Youth Assembly. Feldman sent such an inspiring and motivating message to everyone that heard his story.
I also enjoyed and took pride in the times that our district and club was recognized for all of the hard work that we have put in this past year. Making our community and the world ,as a whole, a better place is enough, but being recognized for our success is like icing on the cake.
Being awarded a Junior Fellow by my co chairs was such a precious surprise that I am thankful of. All of NCDE's Juniors represented us well. I am super proud of HANDS Junior Civitan Club's many accomplishments and NCDE's overall performance.
Lastly, I would have to say that my favorite part of the convention was reconnecting with old friends and making new friends. I'm very grateful for the opportunity that this organization has given me to live outside my bubble and meet people from different states and even countries. I had the time of my life dancing the night away (literally lol) at the Final Dance with some of the best company.
Seeing the convention and Junior Civitan year come to an end is always sad, but looking ahead to the great times and projects to come is something that I'm excited about. Thank you ATL for the memories and the experiences!

Thanks for stopping by!
